Powerhouse Amuse Single Exit Exhaust + R1000 FP Review
Before reviewing the actual exhaust and front pipe, I want to give thanks to BulletProof Automotive. I dealt mainly with Mark and some of the other staff for administrative reasons. They are all very professional, emails were answered right away, and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.
So, why Amuse? When I first saw the TRD Griffon concept, I thought it was an ingenious build. So I wanted to eventually build my track car to something similar. So only two companies were on my list: Tomei and Amuse. I've been waiting both for their single exit exhaust but Amuse released it before Tomei and thanks to forum member tomato86 , I picked Amuse. First Impression Product was packaged with the utmost care. When I first laid eyes on the exhaust and front pipe it was a work of art, I almost didn't want to install it and just wanted to hang it up on the wall. When I look at the stuff in the boxes they looked very sturdy and very well built, so I was a little worried about the lightweight factor as that was why I bought Amuse the first place... more on that later. For now, here are some photos: Exhaust + Front Pipe Exhaust Front Pipe Close Up Exhaust Front Piece Close Up Exhaust Exit Piece Close Up Measuring the Weight As I said before, seeing how well built they were, they didn't look light. But when I pick them up out of the box, man were they light! It was a complete mind job as my brain struggle to get use to seeing something sturdy yet felt like no weight. I manage to use both a digital and analog scale to measure the weight of the system. The analog scale was there just to make sure the digital scale was right. If you do not care about the pictures of scales as proof, then I have all the measurement numbers at the end of the review. Because the way the digital scale was setup, I had to use my body weight to activate it. Here is my weight: I then picked up each individual piece and measure it, so take the number and minus 170.6 lbs. Front Pipe Exhaust Front Piece Exhaust Exit Piece Analog Measurements Here are the analog measurements just to be bullet proof (pun intended), I had to prop the piece up with a plastic box: Front Pipe Exhaust Front Piece Exhaust Exit Piece Installation and Final Pics Here are two videos. One for more indepth look at the product and the other revving sounds vs. the stock system. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1knMWJuE2Y"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1knMWJuE2Y[/ame] [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mrLKki6qrI"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mrLKki6qrI[/ame] The exhaust sound video is slightly off as the garage warps the sound a little. IRL, the exhaust with the front pipe sounds a cross between a boxer rumble and a Tommykiara exotic race car sound. DD is not bad, below 2.5k is barely noticeable. No drones in cabin unless under WOT, and when WOT it's up there with the SRT headerback system. Weight numbers: R1000 Straight Pipe: 2.2 lbs R1000 Single Exhaust: 8.4 lbs Overall, the weight saving is massive and the sound is great. Quality of the workmanship is perfect. Before you ask about dyno numbers, there is no dyno numbers. I don't have easy access to a dyno, and I just don't want to pay for a stock run, labor to put the exhaust on and then another run afterwards. I will however, get a tune for my next upgrade at drift office (3 hrs+ drive) and they will have dyno numbers to give me. But then there will be no stock base numbers to compare and some of you out there will complain about that. I can however, compare it to my next track run as I have done quite a few of them already and have recorded many consistent sessions with my completely stock FRS. Congrats on the exhaust!! It most definitely is a work of art and by far one of the best exhaust systems on the market. Your car looks amazing . Thank you for the excellent write up and awesome pictures. We appreciate the shout out as well! Let us know if you need anything else or if anybody has any further questions on the Amuse systems

Amuse makes great work but in all honestly i can never justify paying the amount you payed for that exhaust(i know what they cost quoted already). Nonetheless, the exhaust is a piece of art but not all of us have that kind of cheese to spend on an exhaust system!

I was finally able to see this thread on my own computer, which means see pictures and watch videos. Sounds awesome. This is with stock intake, headers, and over pipe?
