I used the water gun to rinse my car off, then used the brush to drip soap onto my car. After that I used my microfiber cleaning towel to spread the soap around, and finally I rinsed it off. The only things I cleaned with the brush was the wheels (these will be demoted to winter wheels soon so I don't care how they look).

I'm well aware of how evil foaming brushes are and normally I do the 2 bucket hand wash, but currently I can barely walk (went a little too hard for legs day at the gym so it feels like I'm constantly being stabbed in the thighs/ass). Walking down the hill to get the hose from behind my house, then dragging it up the hill, carrying the buckets, etc would've been excruciatingly painful, so I took a shortcut, but tried not to take too much of a shortcut.

My car definitely didn't get as clean as it normally would since I couldn't crouch down to clean the exhaust tips, rear diffuser, or fully clean the wheels, but it's good enough until I can do a proper wash/wax next week.

Big maintenance today.

Idemitsu Zepro 0W20 oil change, brake and clutch flush with Textar DOT4 LV, Falken Azenis FK510 paired with PowerStop drilled and slotted rotors, PowerStop Z26 pads, and KYB Excel-G struts. And an alignment.

That would be a normal wash for my car - except, the wax would be next year -

Your wheels and exhaust must be really dirty. I only wax my car once a year too. Very late spring/summer/very early fall are basically the only times waxing the car is possible since the rest of the year is too cold, plus I tend to put the wax on kinda thick so once a year is generally enough.

Oh, I spray painted my exhaust flat black, so as one never knows they are sooty. My wheels are OEM, so I just swipe off the shiny ribs. Besides, it dries out the rubber tires by washing them with soapy water all the time.

Oh, yes, the secret is to put the wax on good-en heavy -

Detailed, clay'ed and sealed.

Also picked up high temp brake fluid and some camber bolts.

Paid it off!! I don't even have the plates yet. Washed it, then went to Walmart and got a wireless phone holder/charger for nav and ran the cable from the factory usb, through the dash to the charger. Had to drill one hole, but looks OEM and I doubt anyone would ever see it. I don't like cables being in the way so this was an easy win. Next few mods should be ceramic tint and hard wiring the radar detector through the A pillar.

Today, we took a drive out through the countryside. When I found some twisties, mrs humfrz kept her eyes tightly shut. Through the straight sections of our drive, she dozed off.

Although I wasn't being watched, we didn't crash -

Nope, I found a pull through parking spot at the Buttered Biscuit and the rest of the drive was forward gears only -
