Thanks, I'll give them a call. Am I crazy for simply wanting to powder coat the rims vs. buying a whole new set? I've seem a few pictures of the factory rims painted and they look much better with one color in my opinion . I'm not looking to save weight.

Also, any ideas on which color to use ? I figure if you are going to powder coat, might as well go a little crazy ! I'm wondering what they would look like in a dark magnesium blue ? Photoshop here we come

If the wheels simply came in a polished finish without the black they would look pretty good. Just my opinion, but the whole two tone wheel color looks tacky and makes the wheel look even smaller.

It will still run at around $100 per wheel for the powdercoating so it really depends on if it is worth it to you.

I actually live in Rockwall now but I work at T1 Race Development. I still have friends who work at wheel repair solutions though.

Assuming it's the same shop and people, Tony tuned my GS-R Integra way back in the day and she ran like a champ. Glad to know he's still doing business!

Yessir! Same shop. I had a couple cars built/tuned by him before I started working here as well. Now we only build GT-R's though lol.

We will be having a meet in Southlake tomorrow night (Saturday 10/11/14) from 7-11pm. The plan is to park at the top of the parking garage in the Southlake Town Center and go to Five Guys for some delicious burgers. The address is 1256 Main St Suite 244, Southlake, Texas 76092 and more info can be found on our event page : https://www.facebook.com/events/683305881743996/

I hope to see a bunch of new cars and meet more people from across the metroplex.

Were you at the TI last weekend? If you were, I am Rob, with ATS. Matt used to work with us (before my time), and Aaron and Scott know Tony pretty well, so we were in your area a bit those 3 days. And we were posted up next to Aaron's 308 near the timing lights.

I was out there on Saturday but that's it. I work in the office on the sales side so we had to work on Friday. I saw that 308, that thing is sexy!

Cool, we probably saw each other at some point then.

And yeah, that car is slow as hell, but it's so pretty. I've been trying to convince Aaron to boost it for about 2 years now, and after talking to Norwood last weekend (Aaron learned a lot about how to tune from him), Aaron sent him a text asking if he'd do it. So it might be pretty and fast soon
