Stereo upgrade is one of my "to do" lists
The converter I bought tapped into the 4 wires from the amp in the trunk that are from the head unit to the amp. The dark green wire on the amp is a OEM signal wire you can tap into. My amp has a crossover I set to 120hz.

Today I removed the “noise maker”

No accounting for taste, I guess. I rather like them, too. I know the circle of LEDs harks back to 90s SUVs, but I don't care. With all the swoopy curves of the sheet metal, the geometrically perfect circle looks like it means business, like the wheels.

I did mod mine, because the dinky little back up lights are useless. Now the former signal part of the unit has super bright clear LED bulbs for backing and the red circles have taken on the job of blinking my turns.

Winter tires went on a couple days ago, then it got warm again

I was surprised to find out that in ~50 degree weather they have far less grip than balding Primacies. TCS light was on way more than usual...

But then it got cold and rainy today and I am a very happy camper!

Yeah - my MPSS tires are hating the cold rain here in Oregon. 300hp + Oregon fall = 2nd gear drifts in a straight line.

Yikes! I was in Portland this weekend and was definitely glad to have the winters on. I'm all for sliding, just not unexpectedly.

I keep f'ing up and posting on the FRS side...I installed my catted SRS FP/OP, I will be posting a review but the short of it is that everything lined up well and there is a slight difference in sound and improved throttle response...don't worry, I have a tune.
