Best Tires for Daily Driving Fun

Hi Guys,

So I have a dilemma, and would like your input. BRZ is my daily, and for the past year or so I've been running Bridgestone's RE71Rs (225/17s). They wear great on the street and have awesome grip for the track days / autocross.

I have Blizzaks mounted on the original rims for the winter (which I'm running now). I cannot help but notice how much livelier and more fun the car has become on the street with these low grip tires... probably similar to the original Prius tires which at this point have faded in my memory. Obviously the turn-in is horrendous - but the car moves much more / easier to unstick the tail even at sane driving speeds - which significantly contributes to driving fun while on some desolate / back roads.

Has anyone else experienced this? What is the best solution here? Maybe swap Blizzaks with a nice (lower grip) summer tire during spring - fall and run that for daily, and keep the second set of rims / tires only for the track?

All feedback is appreciated!
