I might be down for a drive...what is the main route? I see the optional one but no other suggestion.

I'm sorry for the confusion, and have edited my previous post to hopefully clarify the routing. The optional route is for early arrivals who want to cruise through Cars & Coffee in Montecito; the main route will leave the Rincon at about 10 to 10:30 AM, going northeast on CA-150 past Lake Casitas, though Ojai, over Dennison Grade and down to Santa Paula for lunch.

The guy who lives in Santa Paula is asking a guy in Oxnard (the city name has nothing to do with bovine testicles, BTW!)? Actually, we lived in SP for about 20 years, and our son still lives in our old house (built ca 1930) there. I was thinking maybe Tia Babe's (easy to find, nice covered patio with some parking lot visibility) or one of the downtown cafes (like Fria: light sandwich/salad shop) -- fast food? We're pretty open, wherever... really...

Unless something changes dramatically, I'll start a new thread for the ride tonight. Again, please post if you're a strong maybe to come play with us on Sunday.

I was looking to see what everyone else thinks about lunch lol. Tia Babe's is a favorite so i'm with you on that one.
My suggestions are Hozy's Grill, Steak and Hoagie, Tia Babe's, Pizza Nuestra and Zapparelli's.

Isn't Hozy's kinda pricey for Sunday brunch? It's been years since we've been there. Steak and Hoagie has been through some management shuffles, and I also don't know what it's like lately; it used to be the very best one of its (local) chain, and parking should be okay there. I don't know anything about the Italian places; would we maybe get a discount if we put shield-shaped yellow stickers with prancing ponies on our 86s?

Fellow 805er over here. Located in Thousand Oaks. Our shop is in newbury park.
I want to get an 805 FRS/BRZ club together. We can probably have the meets at my shop to if people are down.

Oddly enough, perhaps, a snapshot for our cruise from Carpinteria to Montecito, Ojai and Santa Paula last Sunday is in the specific thread for that ride. There is another shot of the two BRZs in our group at Rincon Beach Park in the Subaru photo section. There were some smartphone shots by some of the other drivers, and I have a few more, but mine are pretty blah, really. If anyone wants to see more, reply to the other thread and I'll upload them to our website.

Kay and I are thinking about another cruise in Ventura and/or Santa Barbara County next month. Options we've thought about are:

1. June 1st - Camarillo to First Sunday at Santa Paula Airport via Balcom Canyon, lunch at El Pescador in Fillmore, return via Grimes Canyon and maybe Santa Rosa Road.

2. June 15th - Santa Paula to Rose Valley (Bodee's or Eggs & Potatos for lunch?).

3. June 15th - Cars & Coffee, Montecito to Solvang or Nojoqui Falls via Gibraltar and CA-154, or longer route (~ 150 miles round trip) to Jalama Beach via Santa Rosa Road.

We're not available the other weekends of June, but anyone else should make whatever specific suggestions appeal to him, her, it or them...

I can recommend Jalama for burgers if you don't mind paying to park in the lot.

I may be able to be part of that one as your getting up to my neck of the woods (Santa Ynez Valley). I'd like to get down to Montecito C&C, but I've always got early morning stuff going on for the weekends. Working on house, working on cars, working on bikes, riding bikes. . .
