Heat gun didn't work. I contacted the mfg and they (suntek rep) said that their paint protection film should not be polished unlike the 3M. While it does have self-healing, it is only to a certain extent. Unfortunately mine is to that extent of no going back. I guess sometime down the line I will just have to get it re-done.

Sigh*. Sad times.
