By "came out half decent" I meant that I think I did a pretty good job gluing it on, not that the leather or stitching was "half decent". The product I bought was very high quality. My only complaint was they folded it when they stuck it in the envelope so it arrived with several creases in it.
My ebrake boot was the same way

You made it sound like a no-name cheap part in the previous post. Redline makes all the interior pieces for our cars. Nice quality stuff.

exactly I knew of redlinegoods and have used them for parts on my corvette.

I thought this might be someone doing something similar on the cheap

Yep, that's true.

After the last time I jacked my car up (with my 50 year old, made in Taiwan, floor jack) the jacked leaked and let the car down on my stack of concrete blocks & pieces of 4"x4" (my jack stands).

So, for my birthday, mrs humfrz (bless her heart) bought me this set of jack stands and a floor jack set, rated for >12,000 lbs - Hell, I could jack up the house with that!

Now, it came with a crawler thing (a nice padded one), but the problem is that I have to get down on the floor and roll my body onto it. Then when I try to push off, I get a leg cramp. So, I roll off and have to take some muscle relaxers, which brings on a nap.

By that time, I had forgotten why I was going to jack up the car ..

The oil looked new. Forgot to check under the car a block away, but...there's no oil dripping on my driveway. The one thing I should have looked at is if they put a crush washer on the drain plug.
Nah, no need to be paranoid about it -

Now that the red accents have been removed, I can start adding blue. I got a bolt of blue silk to cover a few panels with on my car. Probably front & rear pillars and the headliner. We will see... Also, contacted the artist that painted my dash. I am going to have my splitter custom painted too!

Be very careful with the headliner. It kinks very easily and it doesn't fit thru the door for shit. I recommend removing your seats to do it. I had mine wrapped with suede in a Rising Sun pattern and it was a real bear to get in

You are 100% correct! Removing a seat makes it WAAAAY easier!

I had quite a bit of brake fade on track last night. It went up in the air again and inspected the brakes, rotors & tires. The pads were glazed over. They were overheated but didn't appear melted. Cleaned them up. Cleaned things up in general and put it back together. Ordered another set of OE pads for now. Also, bled the brake fluid again. Can't hurt.

Now that I'm wearing a helmet I have to lower the seat or raise the ceiling.

I've been reading up on lowering the seat and don't see any options. It may end up being a fixed seat for now. DIY time!

The headliner is the only other option...

I took my seat to an upholstery shop and they cut some foam out of the tailbone area. Now that I've reskinned my girlfriend's 350z seats I'd probably try it myself. Seat isn't as soft anymore but I fit with a normal seating location and no expensive, hard to enter and exit, aftermarket buckets. I had a Sparco Sprint seat (it's a small seat. I'm 6ft and 220lbs. Do not recommend. Maybe for little guys) I used for one season, and it was awful to get in and out of. Held you good and tight though. Best option I could come with was the Bride Gias or Cobra had a fixed back that I thought would work. Both were about 1200$ per seat so I modded the stock seat for like $120.

Edit: oh fuck, you're 6'6". So just ignore everything I just said, you are gonna have to spend big money on that
