race gas and alternatives

I'm doing research and trying to do everything I can to prep my car for track driving next year. Due to all the DI seal issues, I'm thinking about using race gas on top of upgraded radiator and oil cooler.

However, I read somewhere on the forum using race gas will destroy the pre-cats because they continue to burn in the exhaust. Has anyone experienced cat failure due to race gas use on the track?

Are there any other downsides to using race gas besides expenses?

How about some other more convenient and less expensive alternatives that can also work with the stock tune? I'm trying my best to prevent the DI issue while still keeping the warranty. Is water injection something that can be done without a tune?

No, and neither is race gas for that matter.

How about 100% water, no methanol?

No.

Just go get an open flash tablet from Vishnu if you are concerned about the DI seals. You can easily flash back to stock if you so choose and is much less complicated than water injection, not to mention cheaper.
