So today I got the harness back and I have to say this is not acceptable. I am giving the owner a chance to contact me on it but I sent him pictures which I will post in just a few minutes. For 530.00 worth of work this is the biggest POS I have ever seen and is no where near Plug and Play. They literally connected 3 wires for 530.00 and thats it.
I could have paid a local company less than 700 to build me a complete harness from scratch and just run an aftermarket cluster. I did this because I wanted everything inside to work. Now I have the above damaged Direct Injection Controller, a worthless harness setup that I have no doubt the Tach and everything else will not work nor will the car just magically fire if I plugged it in. Seriously what the hell kind of workmanship is this?!! I will be calling my CC Company if I have to go the negative route but here is to hoping it get's handled... Here is a 530.00 Plug and Play Harness from Weapons Grade Performance folks!! So I heard from Weapons Grade: So I have heard from WGP. I will end up having to show all the text messages. (I am going to look into an app to make this easier than taking a ton of screen shots) The first thing was "The harness from current performance cost 89x.xx, I did this for 100." He sent me this link: http://www.currentperformance.com/sh...ss-bare-bones/ If you notice it's 550-730. But the bigger thing is that its for a built from scratch harness not built from your existing harness. I pointed that out he stopped mentioning it. (I sent a screen shot of the built from scratch and price off the web page) Then he told me I was paying for his expertise, it wasn't free. I reminded him I paid him his asking price and got the above. He claims there is more to connect and he didn't know my layout, there should have been a piece of paper in the box. (Now remember he already said he would be sending me an email back in December with instructions, which he never did) Now he is saying he had unrealistic expectations of my comfort level. Really, this is my comfort level. I put that to bed quick quickly pointing out this was a lack of effort on his end. So I have been lead down quite a few reasons with no backing in the last 15 minutes of texting or so and yet I have nothing more than a waste of 1000.00 and lies along with pot shots at my so called comfort level. Thanks so much Weapons Grade! I can see you really made my life easier.

Well you could say I came to a cross road but realized that the wrath of Jewish mountain would be as effective as using the force to build Egyptian Pharaohs pyramids.

It was my understanding that you needed to send them your LS engine wiring harness, Factory BRZ/FRS wiring harness and they would basically splice it all together... what i see here is nothing more than all the wires cut on one connector then 3 of them re-connected...
Am I correct? |

Now the harness issues are apparently solved but the K-Member finishment time frame is just gone no word no nothing so here I am again just left waiting.
I am really close to just saying screw this and selling everything off and putting in an NA FA20 on E85 again with bolt on's and just saying screw this whole thing.

I wish you luck on this endeavor. Trust me when I say I know how much is involved. Unfortunately I took the easier route and bought something different. :/

So Far FA20, Trans everything to put it back is ordered.
I ordered the Perrin Pulley Kit in Black (Water Pump, Alternator and Crank) and a Kartboy Shifter from @Infamous Performance at an excellent price, thanks for the great deal on them! I got an Airaid Intake again thanks to a Forum Member selling me his and I am working on a Header, Lightweight Flywheel and Aluminum Driveshaft. Hope to have this back on the road maybe even by next weekend. Made some other changes along the way but the car's been down long enough it's time to get it back up and get new pictures. Was wanting to order from Moto-East but they have been really busy so I ordered my Header through @Shiv@Openflash again and as always they rock! So all that is left is the lightweight flywheel and Aluminum Driveshaft. Still looking to get the Driveshaft from @moto-mike and start working on the NA E85 tune, for the time being lets see what E85 with more bolt on's and lots of rotational mass weight reduction does until Edelbrock or Harrop's new SC setups hit the market. Just ordered the ACT Streetlight Flywheel from FRSport for 212 Shipped cheapest I found it for so all that's left is the drive shaft. Almost have everything!

If you have documented what you paid the merchant for vs what you received you could easily win a chargeback in regards to the harness if you got screwed on it. The only thing you may need which would help you would be a 2nd opinion from another merchant. You can use the dates that you tried to work it out with the merchant with having them fix it as a time frame extension since it may be past 120 days from the date of the charge... Or depending on when you received it you could use that date. I work at a bank disputing charges.

They finally came through but after that and now the delays from the K-Member and trans mount I have decided to just go back to the FA20 as the car has been down for long enough.
I do appreciate it though I will try to remember that should I ever need to know in the future, here's to hoping I don't. Also looks like I have a local shop making my Aluminum Single Piece Shaft for 300 or so this next week, I drop off the factory one on Monday! Talk about a nice find the best price I found on the Driveshaft Shop one was about 405 Shipped this would be a 100 or more savings as they said 200-300. Thanks to a local instead of building an exhaust out of the Magnaflow and Borla Mufflers I have I am just going to run a Manzo V2 and most likely switch out the resonator for a Magnaflow one to cut the tone down a little more. This means I have 3 other Magnaflows I can sell and put the Borla's on the GTO. All in all a great find thanks to the local AZ member for the hook up!

Alright just got word the Engine/Trans setup is on it's way. All parts but the Flywheel and Driveshaft are on their way as well, apparently FRSport is back ordered so I am checking other options looks like it might be eBay for the Flywheel here shortly.
On the Driveshaft I forgot to load it this morning as I got distracted by checking the rims on the GTO which I plastidipped the centers black on this weekend to see if I like it enough to have them Powder Coated. So far I think I do. Here are two pictures from the weekend and the motor being picked up.
