Now for the install spent all day yesterday on this 6am till 8pm with adjustments. Started off in the rear since that would be the most time consuming with the LCA install

Mine has the leveler for the headlights here with Racer x has a hole for. However the stock bolt is not long enough to get a good bite. The zipties were temporary, drilled out the stock bolt this morning and replaced with a longer bolt with lock washers.

Eventually got to the front I screwed up a little with the front endlink as I height set it Before I lowered it on the drivers side. Fixed that later on as well.

The moment you've been waiting for eyeballed the alignment for now have an appointment Wed.

Stock height measured from the ground to center fender was 26 6/16" front, and 26 10/16" rear.

Set it at 24 13/16" front both sides, Rear 25" DrR, 24 15/16" PasR. It seemed like the Dr R side too a lot more turns that the others to get lower was getting close to running out adjustment.

Have done a lot of personal research on Helmholtz resonators and wave cancelations. I believe when the throttle body shuts that air rushing in needs somewhere to bounce back too. Stored in the resonator like a reservior. Then is released when you open up again. Of course I could be wrong.
You are correct, the intake resonator adds torque at certain rpm. All modern engines have these somewhere in the intake. They can be quite small or fairly large relative to the intake tract volume but they are there for a reason.

The sound tube is a resonator as well, it dead ends at a flexible diaphragm which actually generates the intake rasp that is fed into the small hose going down to the right hand footwell. Whether this does more than make noise is impossible to tell without taking it off. When I took mine off it was to fit a Supercharger. Intake resonance becomes pretty much irrelevant with a Supercharger as Edelbrock deletes both the factory intake resonator as well as the sound generator.

Loving your build so far. The new 17 interior is leaps above the 13 interior. Really like what you did with the brushed metal wrap makes the whole interior look that much better Curious to where you found that TRD badge for your steering wheel and have any more pics of it? Keep up the good work

My original research came from someone on corvetteforums who made a mufflerless exhaust with just different length Jpipes capped off. At certain RPMs the bad droney sound waves would cancel out leaving the higher pitched exotic.
I'm sure similar knowledge is used and tested on our intakes. Sometimes the factory does get it right.

Another couple bucks mod from Aliexpress

Also put my order in for Konig Hypergrams 17x8 +40 16.3lbs , Hankook evo tires that are 19lbs stock size. Should take about 6 lbs of rotating mass per corner and look good enough to DD

I just got the Meisterr coilovers too, hoping to install them soon. How are you liking that blitz filter? I was eyeing it, just not sure if it's worth the moula. Coupled with the uprated tube you must feel a bit of a difference?

Really love the MeisterR coilovers highly recommend for street use haven't done any track yet.

Cant say Ive felt much difference with the intake but I don't have a sensitive butt dyno.

I will be installing lightweight pulleys today stay tuned!

Here are godSnow pulleys installed.

Stock Pulley set up weights 6.25 lbs

New pulleys weight 1.3lbs

To get the old pulleys off I kept the belt on first to get the bolts on the Alt, And Water loosened. I did not need air ratchet on the Alt bolt using this method. I need my trusty 4ft Iron Pipe over my breaker to get the Crank loose. Pulled so much I got the wheels to move slightly then it finally broke

Forgot to take pic with air intake out of the way.

Great way to save nearly 5lbs reciprocating mass. And I don't see the need to spend any more on namebrand pulleys. Overrall quality was very good some slight nicks on the outer edge but everything on the belt drive areas where smooth.

My day is not over just installed these Perrin Control Arm Braces got them on the Perrin Garage Sale on ebay $35. Otherwise I wouldn't spend big money on something like this.

Perrin 10.3 oz

Stock 15.2 oz

Simply jack up front. Unbolt old ones, Slide on new ones, Red Threadlock, bolt to spec

Don't know if they will do much but seem more robust and 5oz lighter at the same time.

Sneak Preview For Tomorrow

Konig Hypergrams 17x8 showed up. Slightly Heavier than advertised about 16.8 lbs vs 16.3 advertised according to this scale.

And tires are here and nice and light as advertised 19.3lbs

will be 36.1lbs total good for an honest 5.4lb rotating mass loss!!!!! Cant wait to get them mounted
