The air was pretty pathetic in them, relegating them to winter use in Florida. The 328 was my DD for several months, though, while I was a Asheville, North Carolina and it was quite reliable. Same with the 308, but I didn't own either one of them for very long, due to a crazy set of circumstances.

But how many people can say they've owned two Ferraris.
LOL I would say about the same that have owned a Simca Bertone, a DKW, a Morris Minor, and a MKII MGA coupe!

I thought that I owned an odd set of vehicles over the years but you take first prize!

You surely do stay on top of things, Tcoat, and I'm grateful for the many good pieces of advice you've given me here.

I've owned a lot of cars and motorcycles, many more than I've mentioned here, because I've had a long time to play with them, and I was once a part owner of a used-car company that specialized ln really exotic stuff. My partner and I usually drove them for a long time to make sure they were OK before selling.

I'd be very surprised if I'm not the oldest person on this board. It all started a long, long time ago, in a place far, far away.

There was an 80 year old guy but he recently sold his car. There are a bunch in their mid to late 70s and a whole shitload of us from 55 to 70. There are actually a surprising number of 55 up on here.

The used car gig would certainly explain the wide range of cars and the age would cover the truely weird ones.

As I say, I'd be very surprised if I'm not the oldest guy on this board.

Yep. All the men wear white shoes, all women have blue hair, and all the tracks are flat with no elevation changes.

And soooo - how old are you? -

Do you do remember the first time you rode on the "Princess Donna" at Silver Springs?

I hear 80 is the average everything. Average age, average IQ, average temperature, etc..

81 next month. I was only passing through Florida to run Moroso 13 years ago and kind of got stuck here. Long story. At least I'm only 2 hours from Sebring. Haven't been out there for 5 years but hope to have the FRS track-ready by fall. Ran with Citrus and Gold Coast Porsche clubs at first down here, then Chin. Ran Roebling a time or two with Citrus. Chin is a good bunch and you get a lot of track time. Was with Northern New Jersey Porsche chapter for quite a while before that. Largest PCA chapter in the country. We ran a lot of events, all the way from Summit Point out to Mid-Ohio and up to Mosport and Mt. Tremblant. Been to Silver Springs a long time ago but don't remember any princesses.
