Dude here's the thing, you can't have both. You'll have to find a compromise.
Personally I'll just have a dedicated track wheel/tire for the tack. On that note I have nothing but great experience with Hankook RS3 and Bridgestone Potenza RE71R

If you are just starting out and in a place that doesn't get too much rain, I'd say Federal 595 RS-RR.
- They are affordable and last a long time for dd/track tires. - Drawbacks: poor feedback, slippery when overheated, loud on DD |

86Cup recommends GT Radial SX2 available at tirecrawler.com
Not the grippiest tire but has excellent and progressive feedback. Very affordable too at $300 a set. A great learners tire for the track and can easily be used in daily driving without many drawbacks. Some drivers can have 8 track days on them while dailying the car. |

The best tire is entirely dependent on your experience level. If you're experienced you wouldn't be asking this question...

Any tires you want to run. More grip get this. More tire life get that. Need to run in the cold or rain. Get something else. You're not going to cause some kind of disaster.

If you're new to track driving leave the stock tires on. You'll learn car control much faster. Your slip angles will happen at a lower speed so when they happen at higher speed with good tires you'll know how to handle things properly.
Save the sticky tires for later. If you want to progress leave the stockers on for a few track days. If your intent is to just go out and bomb around the track without a lot of finesse then go with the stickier tires, |
