Thought I would follow up from my original post (#2899 in this thread) now that I have bypass valve connected and tune dialed in.

I went with the Delicious Tune based on all of the positive feedback they receive on the forum. It did an awesome job at correcting all of the issues I was seeing with the stock Edelbrock tune. The car runs significantly better with the Delicious tune. The idle issues are fixed, and power feels much more linear with their tune. It really is a must have for cars with this SC kit and additional mods.

Looking at the Edelbrock site today, looks like they're no longer selling the e-force for the FR-S/86/BRZ. Google search links into the Edelbrock site for the FA20 supercharger lead to 404 errors.

Is this about the bypass valve? Or something else?

Probably something else.. could be a production issue or they could be stopping as they were kinda late to game so maybe it's not selling well. Our platform is 7 years old now. Let csg or another vendor chime in. Still plenty probably in channels so get one if you want boost

They are still selling the kits from our knowledge. We just placed an order for a couple more units and no one told us that anything has changed.

Also this is definitely the most popular kit we tune for all forced induction applications, so I doubt they have a problem with sales.

The bypass valve issue is being revamped by Edelbrock and they are hoping to release something soon. Not sure what soon means, but they are working on it.

Cheers,
William

Do you know if this means they’d issue the fixed version to existing customers for free or not?

The fix has not been issued yet. From my understanding they actually developing a brand new bypass valve, from the ground up. Once that is done then they will release it.

That's excellent news. Thank you very much for sharing that.

Just a side note, I have remarked to myself a number of times that the D-Box product might get an improved consumer response if it were available in an alternative fabric-based soft "sack" or "satchel" form factor.

Thank you for the comment. We have looked at simplifying it a bit more and will probably look into in 2020. Right now we are working on finishing up a few other products and tune updates before the end of 2019.

Cheers,
William

Yes - and if you did decide to go that route, if you wanted, you could change the name of the product slightly to reflect this...

I'm feeling kind of sad that no one has guessed my punchline here. Sorry to have bothered you all.

You have 7 posts and 3 of them are setting up a joke about calling something a douche bag. Maybe everyone figured you were 12?
