This is a hard question to answer but I think for most folks you need to look at what you get with the kit vs the price you pay, and people's general experience with it. Find out from people who have the kit.

We've made some mention about what our thoughts are here in other threads, but generally we don't recommend running for a prolonged period of time on pump gas at high loads and boost > 14 psi. That goes for any setup.

Inlet temps of 160 F are not that unusual on a high boost SC setup. When you do that for a prolonged period of time then the chance of knock goes up substantially, and there's nothing you can really do from a tuning standpoint to fix that. Just lower compression and better cooling or e85. At less than 12 psi it is not a big deal, but with the 19 psi the 335 was doing, that was a lot to ask from the stock motor and pump gas.

Is it the crank case breathers that are making that high pitched sound?

Is that 3" or 4" piping for the air filter? I'm curious because my GTX3076R has a 4" filter and I would like to relocate it for some colder air.

The piping is 3". the location of the filter there is fairly ideal.

Mike thinks its the breathers, I think It's the turbo so we'll say its a combination of both. the catch cans seem to act like resonators.

You can clearly see steam or oil vapor or something coming from the breathers on top of the catch cans.

Is it normal to get that much pressure coming out of the crankcase to make the catch can breathers sing like that under boost? Makes me wonder if there is significant blowby in the cylinders allowing the crankcase to pressurize.

The motor was freshly built and not quite broken in, but with an open PCV system such as this you'll always get some blow-by coming out of the filters since it isn't recirculated. With built motors that are designed for race use you need to leave the ring gaps a bit wider than factory, so expect to see a bit of vapor when using open cans.

Your turbo may have a 4" cover on it but not all 4" are actual intake. Look inside the center circle is probably something like 2.75" the surrounding area is anti-surge ports. So reducing down to a 3" pipe really is no harm, unless we are talking real big HP.

Mrk1 is correct the piping being 3 Inch wont hurt anything, so having the pipe routing to a colder area while keeping the 3 inch diameter works the best for our purposes if need be we have the room to change the pipe and make it into a 4" though.

The first rocket bunny car I have seen that actually has a shot at being tracked, lol.
