Will do - about 180 shipped from Ontario but if it works, great.

I actually have 3 boost/dump batteries - any reason to replace them? Looks totally different than the original install video:

Starter bat - will replace with the PC680.

The remaining 3 dump batteries, after the starter battery is removed.

Slight increase with the new dump batteries, but easier wiring. I wouldn't recommend it since the cost to performance increase isn't huge for you.

Anyone care to share their thoughts on updating from 1.5 kit to 2.0 with newer compressor and controller?
I'm debating if it's really worth it - also contemplating the proceed kit, but I'm at war with the fact that I can get a smog legal SC for the total cost put into to it at that point.
That wasn't the point of getting this kit to begin with, and I love the fact that this light weight kit does what it does already.
It also appears that I fried one of the coils (P0351)
Gotta replace that - I've been getting some fuel smell at WOT with the ESC engaged. If I turn off the ESC, no fuel smell. Tends to do it only when the engine isn't at full operating temps.
I bought a new coil, just have to install and hope that I didn't foul a plug.
Thanks for anyone's input on this!

Depends. With the 2.0 and partial throttle switch you get more linearity plus a faster spool up with the lighter wheel.

But if you get the procede you can program a prespool and control boost at any rpm.

I would do the procede in your case.

I upgraded from the 1.5 kit to the 2.0 kit with lighter compressor and new controller (still 1.5 dump pack). The improvement "feel" is minimal. The procede was a life changer, though.

So are new kits planning on shipping out soon? There is not nearly enough feedback on this imo. Thanks.

That means Rob will have delivered 10 kits since the last update on 17 Sept. At that rate, I would get mine in December next year, 4 months after my lease ends. Not sure I will buy out the car if that is the case. Might be time to move on...

I was on waiting list from last year around October so it's over one year waiting period.

I would not mod anything on leased vehicle nor will buy out either. you've saved more money if you financed at first place.

Agreed. I leased the BRZ because I originally had no intention of keeping it beyond 3 years nor any thought about making significant mods. I didn't love the lack of power but nothing else anywhere near the price point comes close to the level of steering feel. (That is code for "I really wanted a used Cayman").

The idea of buying it out started to gel when I started following this thread (round about Page 50!). The ESC really appeals to me as a concept, plus I got a chance to drive a few KM in an early ESC equipped FR-S. That really got me thinking - Buy out the BRZ, add the ESC, a better stereo, some sound deadening, and a set of Ohlins R&T or just bite the bullet and get a Cayman S. It was enough to get me to PM Rob to get on the list. Still 9 months to decide...

Mine is on its way soon too. I'm just waiting for a PayPal invoice so I can finalize the transaction. I was two spots under @zc06_kisstherain
