They usually sleep on the hood of cars because of the warmth and to be above and away from other cats. Recently near my house has been getting a lot of cats and I find foot prints all over my hood all the time now. It's quite irritating to wash your car and then to see that and scratches....grrr haha.

There is supposed to be a mat with spikes on it or something that teaches them. Maybe I'll go look that up haha.

You can try ground pepper (red or black) all over the car. It'll usually keep them off alright. The negative part is that pepper red or black tends to be oily, leaving oily spots on the paint(it washes off). Eventually the cats get wise and stop jumping up on your ride. Thereafter you can just sprinkle around the cars perimeter to remind them it's a bad idea...

Get an Airsoft Sniper Rifle! If that fails catch the cat and put him in the pound as a stray. I hate cats

I've never thought of that protection... Where I live I gotta watch for things falling off trees like dead animals, branches, poop, and leaves. I always have my cars garage parked when I can.
Can you get those universal car covers at your local autoshop?

But wouldn't a custom/specifically made for the FRS be better?
