Why get the 2014/15 ? I heard the 2016 will better. Or you can wait for the much improved 2017. Or...

Unless someone else does a RWD front mid engine boxer layout I don't see it capturing what make this new car so special.
Anything else will be the same old stuff but modernized. This car is ground breaking in it's design. Dan |

^ What does that mean? "built around the boxer engine"
There is nothing ground breaking about this car. What I do find special about the FRS/BRZ is that it's a driver's car in this age of big, heavy, & high horsepower cars. |

What I mean is that once they developed the concept of what they wanted this car to be, there was no doubt that it would be a boxer engine to best fit that mould. I don't really understand how somebody can say the engine isn't special in regards to the car. Because this car couldn't be without this engine. You'd have a completely different car with a completely different feel.

There is nothing special about 2.0 NA boxer engine that produces 200hp and 150 tq. Period. However, it is well-suited to this particular vehicle considering its purposes.
Getting back to the thread topic, I'm not going to wait and get it as soon as it's available for sale. You only live once. |

dont see myself waiting till 2014 to get one! im just too excited about this car and if my finances work out (since it probably wont launch here and no loans for imports) so haveto pay the full retail + 120% (import tax) so will work out roungly 55k usd incl various other taxes that i haveto pay. i dont see the point in waiting for a 25bhp boost and minor suspension changes, thats what usually happens with updated versions ne way. better cars will always be round the corner, but if u keep thinking about that u will never end up buying a car right now.
