Update
Now at 4900 kms , thought I'd do a quick update.
Engine has loosened up nicely , nice and free revving now. The slight vibration on the clutch pedal has disappeared, as did the slight rattle from the rear. So no issues. Since I found the trip computer to be a bit optimistic , I decided to do some of my own fuel consumption calculations. For the last 4 fills , I made sure to reset the trip meter and worked out the KM/L based on actual litres filled. I got 11, 11.3, 11.8 and 11.1 Km/l respectively. That's between 8,5 and 9 l/100 kms on average , with a mix of traffic and highway. I think that that's quite good for a sports car. Perhaps I'm not driving it hard enough , but I take it to the red line every day at least a few times ! After 5000 kms I'm thinking of doing an oil change and putting in the TRD air filter ( or maybe this Works one that people are talking about ) |
