We made two modifications to our current home that I'll never be without again. First one is a tankless water heater.

Second one is an Aprilaire air filter on both of our HVAC units (sits between the air return and the blower where the filter goes. It replaces the crap filters that come with the HVAC system. It's 6 inches thick and the model we have also has an electrostatic charge. It made a massive difference in the air quality of our house (including dust level), and the filters are good for six months.

Sticker above the Nest thermostat.....not HP gains, but more watts!!!!

Actually I have two of the K&N cleanable house filters, put the clean one in wash the other....when the other one needs cleaning the first is dry and ready to go.

After two years and having to replace those regular filters every three months I have saved money now. Arizona is dusty, and filters rarely lasted more than 3 months.............

My favorite episode was when the moon got a breathable atmosphere.

They "opened the windows" of the space station to enjoy the fresh air.

Because all space stations have sliding windows.

It was so shit it was awesome.
