Agreed with pretty much all of this. I know that Clarkson and crew had a style that appealed to many, but Top Gear has been in production since 1977 and relaunched in 2002, well before the arrival of C/H/M's style of presenting and it will continue afterwards. This new cast is great! Hoping the new show will be as well. Nothing to stop people from watching both the new Top Gear and the new CHM show on Amazon as well.

So we still don't know how much of a role everyone is going to play on the show. The reason I gave a vague answer is because it is a vague topic. You should take everything you read/see for a grain of salt until it is proven or do you believe everything on the internet.

Like I said earlier, high confidence in Harris and Jordan, the rest are question marks imo that will succeed or fail based on creative decisions in the show and their own talent at presenting.

For Harris, I really don't care for supercar reviews, like at all, but his Mclaren/Ferrari/Porsche video is beautifully well done, awe inspiring and fun is what a car show should be:

Never heard of this rory guy but this highlight reel is promising that he can hold his own.



I thought there was talk of Coulthard being involved but I guess not? Or in a minor capacity maybe. Schmitz can drive and talk and be entertaining but her carrying her own segments might be a stretch. And I already armchair quarterbacked enough on Leblanc last week.

Will be interesting for sure, like someone else said, if it wasn't called Top Gear it would deserve a watch on casting alone.
