Shop to Install Valentis ?
Hey guys,
So i think Im actually going to start to get around to fixing some stuff in my FRS and make it look less stock. I have a 2015 frs full stock at the moment and I'm looking to change it up cosmetically for the time being first. Is there any shops that you guys know in NYC that would install/do the smoked Valenti tail lights for me ? Like even if they dont sell them , would it be possible to buy them and bring it into a shop for them to install them for me ? And does anyone have experience swapping our the stock headlights for LEDs/HIDs ? Most likely I would have to switch out those small orange lights on the bottom too so it looks less ghetto ? Or does anyone have experience with just swapping out the headlights only ? I never did any work like this on my car before but I really wanted to swap those out since the valentis look so nice. I was also hoping on finding as hop to do the navigation install as well. If i brought it to the dealership to do that it would cost like literally 1200 bucks -_-. Thanks ahead of time guys |

Like it was previously said it is very very easy to do the tail lights yourself and there is a bit of satisfaction with that as well
There are plenty of videos as well Open Trunk Move Liner Disconnect cable and loosen the 4 nuts Pull Old tail out Put new tail in Tighten 4 bolts and connect cable Put liner back Close trunk Admire your handy work ggez

Another suggestion to DIY this install. It really is easy enough that even the most basic car person can do it (and hey, save that money you would've spent on install on another upgrade for the car!).

Instead of paying a shop the hourly rate to install them, why not just meet up with someone local or at a meet? I'm sure a lot of folks would be willing to help you out. Takes only 15-20m to do it and that's if you take your time.

I am a dumbass when it comes to cars. If I can install taillights on the first try, you can too!
I do second the suggestion about asking the locals for assistance if need be. I find people are very helpful when it comes to anything about cars. |

It's plug and play. I'm sure you can do it yourself! I know it can be scary at first, but it is so gratifying doing it by yourself.
If you're that worried, please don't go to a shop to install it, they'll rip you off (unless they're nice!), and go to someone local or at a meet. Like many others here, I'm free to install these on a weekend if you'd like!

Valenti's sell both the reverse/brake light and taillights separately. I know you're looking for smoked ones but I'm currently selling red Valenti's and would install them for free if you change your mind
