Any plans on doing some heat wrap or even a vented hood? Seems like with the current design your intake temps will be high. Looks awesome though, and the fact that you did it yourself is even more amazing

No vented hood thats for sure. And the air inlet is in the stock location so im not worried about air temps

Today i built this wiring harness for my gauges. I cutted out the 12volts plug in the glove compartment and soldered a harness and connector. Then another harness splits the power in two and then onto the gauges. This way both gauges can be removed easily. I also installed a 10amp fuse on each gauge harness like AEM suggests.

First test... Yes its got power with the key on!

Both gauges working with the car running

Now i just need to make some kind of holding bracket

I think he was referring to the cold side charge pipe being near the hot side when talking about intake temps.

Looking good so far.. I take it your driving it on the Visconti base map?

I can't tell if your kidding about 12.3:1 at idle (based on the vacuum reading) being better than 14.4 or serious lol. Of course 12.3:1 under load is better than 14.4 any day of the week but at idle it is needlessly rich

I'm sure visconti will have your tune sorted out in short order... In for dyno sheet.

you went to a 3" maf housing yes? The maf will need to be scaled for sure so I would imagine in closed loop your fuel trims are very far positive and they should cary over into open loop, however i'm not sure how visconti modifies the stock closed to open loop transition if he does at all.... . In stock form the ecu holds closed loop for an extended period.

anyway.. if the maf is not scaled yet the calulated load will be lower than it should be and you will be running more timing than desired as a result. May be best not to drive it until you get some more updates from visconti... and make sure he knows your on a larger maf housing.
