DIY -my scanguage placement

I got the scanguage2 for oil temps, water temps and transmission temp.. Well, no luck getting trans temp yet. Rest is all good and has volts, and few other items.
I have mine reading oil, water, HP, and Throttle. Seems to do well.
I have seen a few others post their placement, this is mine. I put it at an angle, for easy viewing.
Understand, this is to big to just go into the unit by about .100 or 1/8th", and yes that takes into consideration removing the rubber bottom.
Many redundant pics, but goes with the flow.

Now you have some leverage to use and pull this out of its cubby.

Take the plastic box and drill a 5/8ths hole in center rear of the box.
This is for the scanguage cable.

Attach the USB to obd2 port and route cable thru backside, so that we can run it thru hole drilled in box.

I also am doing my phasetek footwell lighting at same time, connecting all my wires in the box area. I just soldered my wires to the dome assembly, ran them to this box area, then ran both side of lights to the center and soldered them all together.
Back to scanguage- to get my angle I wanted, I used a table saw to notch a 45deg to be able to lock it in place. It is a shallow ledge, you may use dremel or whatever you have.

Of course attach the cable to the back of the scanguage. You can easily push the extra cable back in.
Next I just added some Velcro tape to the 4 corners of the gauge and the front bottom lip/ top inside lip of the box.
Put the top groove of the gauge into the top of the box, then angle down and make contact with bottom Velcro. Now this puppy is locked in via the groove. You can punch buttons and it is solid.
Here is overall view, showing the gauge at slight angle.
Yes, the doors are open so the floor lighting is on.

Great job, good alternative for those who need to keep an eye on it but I'm not a big fan of the placement there. It just looks out of place.

Keeping an eye on this for future updates.
