Ive gotten a few thumbs up from non Subaru/Scion drivers, all the WRX STI guys stop roll down their windows and start asking me questions about it, had 3 so far.

Yesterday a guy in a Scion xB made a Uturn just to follow me and check out the car, only to make another uturn and go back the way he was heading originally.

Still haven't seen a FRS or BRZ on the road yet

Yes. Always.

I come from Ford EU club, which you probably saw in my whining about Ford Sierra RS and Cosworth. We did it then - we do it now and always.

I'm used to the wave with my WRX and Miata (interestingly, only the bugeyes wave to other bugeyes, and NA Miatas to other NA's). I actually saw a BRZ driving in the opposite direction last week! I gave a big wave. Lady about mid 40s driving, looking dead ahead, didn't even see me. Did not strike me as the typical buyer, especially at this stage where you needed to pre order months before. (I'm not saying she wasn't an enthusiast, but in that brief passing moment, she didn't appear to be an enthusiast.)

Jeep Wranglers too! I miss that community.

BRZ's and FR-S's are so rare I doubt you'll find many owners who would be perplexed by a wave. That and a high percentage are likely enthusiasts. There are bound to be a a few clueless people who buy the car because it looked cool, but if I get mine I'll definitely be acknowledging any others I see on the road.

Most fellow S2K drivers I drive by will give me the Thumbs Up or Wave. Surprisingly even in oncoming traffic on the highways! (freeways for us ca folk...)

If I see someone driving anything other than a BRZ or FRS, I'll give them the finger.

Yup, wave please or thumbs up too, yeah.

I wave to my fellow Legacy 2.5GT's or Spec B's when I'm driving that. Same goes for fellow BRZ's and FR-S's

Got a nice wave from an older gentleman in an SVX. That was pretty cool.

I'll give them a wave even in my Mazdaspeed 3, I'm sure they'll figure it out. The BRZ should be mine soon though!

I haven't had a chance to do this yet... Haven't seen another on yet on the road.

Did wave back / thumbs up to a bunch of WRX though.

In my WRX I always nodded at or acknowledged in some way other WRX/STI drivers, and they usually did the same. If I see another BRZ/FR-S I'll probably hang out the window in excitement.
