There should only be one bitter tC owner and that is me. The FRS/BRZ came out one month after I deployed to Afghanistan and i've been waiting for this car since OCT 2009. Can you imagine watching all kinds of random people buying the car. Like non enthusiasts, high school kids, or people that have no clue what it is.

I haven't even seen the car yet!

There are two tC generations. 1st gen was not boxy, 2nd gen is more of a edge to it, but still not boxy sorry.

Perform extremely terribly? Due tell on how terrible it performs. From my research and experience it performs very well. In a "street" setting, the tC is much like the FR-S/BRZ. It gets no respect until a turbo is put on it, then it's eating cars left and right.

That sounds more like you are just sticking a nostril up in the air really. You don't need like some data spreadsheet to answer that question bro.

I can't speak for TC owners, but as the driver of a fwd, 160hp, sporty compact, I can confirm that I am quite bitter in regards to the fact that the frs even exist. I shake my fist in anger every time I see one on the street. I writhe around at night, unable to sleep because the gods have not granted me the opportunity to own the greatest vehicle in automotive history. Jealousy consumes my every thought.

I haven't encountered any problems with other Scion owners, however I can imagine some people that bought the TC just before the FR-S coming out might be a little bitter.

Hyundai Genesis owners on the other hand ..

People still buy the tC when an FR-S is sitting right next to it. Is it really that unimaginable to think that the FR-S isn't going to fit everyone's needs.

Chalk one up for the FWD crowd:

In our tests, the BRZ accelerated from 0-60 mph in 6.4 seconds, while the Focus ST was able to reach the same speed in 5.9 seconds. The Focus ST was unsurprisingly also quicker in the quarter-mile, posting a 14.6-second time at 95.9 mph versus the BRZ’s 15.0 seconds at 93.0 mph. At the track, with pro racer Randy Pobst behind the wheel, the two cars were a second apart at 01:29:27 for the Focus ST, and 01:30:32 for the BRZ.

You're right, I should have been more specific, I meant some people.

The poster used the phrase "there are fwd cars that will destroy the frs just so you are aware". I merely wanted some sensible information other than the term "Destroy". Perhaps if you removed your nostril from your backside you might see my point with some clarity.
