Wow crazy! Glad she's ok, but being stuck in the car for 20 mins would freak me out...fire danger.. sadly my father in law got into a aciddent and got trapped in the car and caught on fire...

this was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this.. glad she's ok and car can be replaced. .

Absolutely. In fact it doesnt get any more real life than this. This can happen anytime you strap in, start the engine and start driving down the road. Anytime. If your still in disbelief I can post a picture of her fractured femur x-ray, unless ya think maybe bones dont really break :/

Unlikely... I dont know this for sure, but I'm fairly sure she wasn't out trying to drift her way around corners on country roads. Like I mentioned in the original post, she isnt sure what happened that led to the accident, and in fact they are evaluating her for the possibility that she may have had a seizure. As far as she remembers she was out driving, and then woke up trapped in a crunched car with a face full of deflated side curtain air bag.
