Go ahead and take it, they will provide a loaner car if one is available there. The research and development fee is $4500. I don't have money to spare, so I'm out.

Eh, they want me to remove the lightweight pulleys and the exhaust. Nevermind.

I'm assuming that's because they need a base car without any mods to make a true bolt on kit that doesn't skew the numbers as well as make it give different power numbers to every other car

Same even $1000 would work but for $4,500 I feel like there better options. Just my opinion.

Edelbrock kits aren't cheap, I understand, but 4500 for keeping my car for a month and a half for something they are going to market in the future seems like a bit much.

I mean I'd expect about half off for letting them tinker with my car, unless they're giving you a really nice rental for those 6 weeks.

However, all of that is moot because I don't own the stock Exhaust or Wheels anymore, and they want a bone stock car

Any idea on msrp for the kit? I'm sure they're knocking off a couple grand from the kit/tune at the 4,500K price, plus you get it installed which can also set you back quite a bit. Thanks for inquiring though...

What's the latest on this? Has your car already been dropped off?

I was hoping to update this thread soon...

Thank you again.
