How do you determine which owners fall into the non-almost-100% ?
[/Pedant]
The ones who aren't middle aged and overweight ie Barbie. Would you rather I said 98.75789266722%? Should I have called Chevrolet and asked how many of their owners fell into the demographic? It's a damn joke people, oh wait you have a vette convertible don't you!!!??

Oh and can't see any contradiction - it's actually a reasonably lucid and precise way to describe something that would be exact, if not for a very small difference.

You could use 'almost full' in the same way - and that obviously isn't an oxymoron.

"Almost 100%" would be.

I guess it's alright to make broad sweeping statements when it bolsters one's argument.

define affordable. i dont even think so much of that is possible. mid engined cars with double wishbones have to be huge since both the engine and the suspension take up space. also, you are describing a cayman. just get one of those.
More rear bias. Also lower polar moment, which is hard to achieve with the engine at one end and the transaxle at the other.

Caymans are nice cars but compared to my MR2, they're clearly a more luxury ride with their longer wheelbase, slower steering, etc. They also clock in at 3000lbs (Porsche understates curb weight by a lot) which is rather heavy. Driving experience wise, I don't like the super long hood, it makes the forward visibility quite a bit worse than my MR2.

Also, a lot of work on a Porsche drivetrain requires engine removal which is horribly expensive/time consuming, but almost worth the trouble.

Another issue with Porsche that bugs me is their electronic limiting of hp, people have logged the throttle body on the DFI 9A1 engines and all of them including the Carrera S don't open the throttle fully at high rpm to intentionally limit power. I guess this isn't a huge problem because you can just buy an ECU from a newer model when they come out and put it in.

Exactly! Not afraid of it. Just prefer really letting it rip.

Which car are you talking about exactly? No one here really cars about the convertible. The C7 hardtop and C7 Z06 are what we're talking about. Neither of those run neck and neck with the STi.

Well that is good to hear!
I bet that 60% of the Vettes I see around here are driven by the likes of her.
