Problem with being in Illinois is we have no tuners. Perrin is 3000 miles away, and FA20 is 1300 miles away. My best bet would be that but would have to make a trip out of it. Sucks.

Where is Moto Mike located?

Hi, just install my vortech SC perrin tune some weeks ago and I was happy with the results. Thanks to perrin and vortech!
I have one quick question, what is the usual idle rev? Before on my SC I have around 700~800, but now have 600~650rpm which give me some weird sound around the SC when I shift to rev or drive. Everything is tight so I'm wondering if its related to the idle rev after shifting. Thanks a lot!

Is your car an automatic?

Did you have a tune on the car before the Vortech?

The FRS/BRZ/GT86 idles around 650 stock, at least for the manuals.

Does anyone have a chart that shows what pulley makes a certain psi for the vortech unit?

Lehigh Vally pa, 18106 ish. Hit him up, I dunno what setup your running, but so far he has the best gains posted with stock fuel injectors, I'm going back in to get it dyno'd with the new injectors.

With any tuner I'd highly recommend getting them to tune your car in person on the dyno for the best gains.

I also have a house that I rent but I don't live in most of the time, so u can use it as a home base if you decide to go this route... You didn't lower your car did you? It's out in the middle of the woods.

For the manual trans with the Perrin tune, my idle is between 786-817.
It bounces between that range. I don't see why auto would be any different. You might want to have perrin look at your idle logs.

Thanks for the offer man I appreciate it!! I really do want to get a tune in person for sure, just not sure how far I want to go to do it. I am not lowered, already scrape at stock height.

The car has had a squeaky pulley (sqeaky bed)or not sure if its compressor whine at 2000RPMs sounds like a higher pitch noise between 1800-2000 getting a bit louder now. Cant figure out maybe tensioner? gets a bit louder the more heat is in the car.

anyone else have this?
