Technically it is the amount of keys.

Full is 104 keys, 60% is 61 or 62, and 40% is 41 I think.

Edit: Also, haha old man and his old man keyboard.

Hey, whippersnapper , you too will get old (hopefully) and your fingers will get shaky and your eyesight will get blurry and dim ....... and will need large, bright keys to be able to type.

No, I don't know how to keyboard. Back when I was a young business man, I had a large breasted secretary that sat outside of my office to do the typing.

Yep, I would dictate and she would sit across from my desk, in a mini-skirt and take shorthand or, in later years, I would dictate into a tape recorder.

She would then type up what I dictated and bring it back for me to proof read ....... as she leaned over my desk wearing a low cut dress, showing much cleavage.

Story time. I was in our corporate headquarters in Westport, CT, with an office that was all glass on one side that looked out over Long Island Sound.

One day my regular secretary was out sick and I had a temp. I asked her to make me airline reservations to fly to Fargo, ND the next day and return two days later. (spoiler alert) Now, at this time airline books came in two books (or sections) one for flights to somewhere and another for from that somewhere.

That cute little thing came into my office and said "mr humfrz, I can find you a flight TO Fargo, but there are no flights LEAVING Fargo ...... ??

I ask her "Lisa, what the heck do you think they do with all those airplanes that stack up in Fargo....."??

Sorry, no sex in that story ........ however, I had this secretary in Redfield AR .........but, that's another story.

This is my new job if you can believe that. Basically I do everything off an IBM 3270 emulator (same looking screen).
