It was actually a bit scary: I was accelerating from a traffic light (not a hard launch, just normal start), and the car kind of choked, and hesitated for a bit, the engine light and the traction-control lights came on, but in a couple of seconds the engine continued working normally. I stopped soon, checked the fault codes with the Torque, and found that P0172 code. Came home in 5 minutes, visually inspected the engine and the SC system - everything looked normal. The car started and worked without noticeable issues.

I cleared the code to see if it would come up again, and drove to work today - haven't noticed any issues.

I can get some logs from the ECU with the Torque, but what should check? There are Fuel Trim Bank 1 Long Term and Short Term sensors, I guess those are the ones, but what values would be expected for those?
What else to look for?
I've had this happen. I ended up cleaning my maf sensor and cleaned/oiled my intake filter. The car runs perfect again.

Standard CARB tune for me. And the rest of the car is stock.
BTW, my BRZ is automatic, if it makes any difference.

When it both happened, I was on the carb tune but now I'm running a custom Shawn Church Automotive tune.
