It really is a lot of tire for a 2700 lb daily driver. see pic below, if it uploads..

Oh, and on my winter setup, the car floats on the highway, its sketchy. Blizzak WS70 215/45/17.. It's because of the tread compound, not the sidewalls.
I don't have to worry about winter tyres and snow luckily.
So good summer/perf tyres it will be

With wheels, tires, mount, balance, a hair under 2k. I saved a considerable amount of money on the tires buying from Costco, plus mount and balance was 15 per wheels there

Ahh, the sidewall test. We need some quality control inspectors...let me know when she's old enough...then again, we can start her now. Just tell her to bring the Playdoh-meter with her.

You're lucky. For the same money I can only get the rims. Then will need the tyres/fitting and balancing. An expensive exercise.

Understandable. I went with 720Form wheels, which happen to be made in Canada, or at least the company is based in Canada. At about a pound heavier per wheel in the same size as RPF1's, but around 6-700 dollars cheaper, they were a bargain.
