Release Series 1.0 FR-S & FT-1 Pics from NYIAS (Warning: iPhone Pics)

I think the RS looks pretty good, but I wouldn't pay that much for a twin.

Sorry for the poor quality pics. I didn't bring a camera because I didn't plan on taking any pics. It's always the same cars every year I go, except for the few new concepts. The FT-1 looks awesome, though!

That FT-1... Holy shit.

Kinda "meh" on the TRD though. Like the front lip.
The big TRD on the lower back? Eh..
Color looks good though.

Edit,thank you for the pics.

What is the metal piece under the shift knob (above the reverse lockout). I wonder if it is for additional weight?

He's talking about the metal ring above the reverse lockout.

I couldn't get a good look at the interior since it was locked.

Really want to see what the black seats look like. From the official pics, they look terrible.

bootleg?

is TRD not allowed to make multiple kits for their cars?

Personally I think that rear-diffuser looks pretty cool, and with the quad tips. Definitely wish it had a turbo though...

The FT-1....absolute thing of beauty. I've seen some dialed down possible production renderings and that the new Supra could be a real winner

i personally don't see it as copying. seeing as the aero kit is(as of now) 100% unique to the FR-S and not available overseas

mean we have

the GT86 GT-S

the TRD 86 complete car

the Griffon [which isn't available(yet)]

and now the RS 1.0 FR-S

None of these kits aren't the same, yet all are made by Toyota or TRD

so it it really bootlegging if none of the kits are the same?

So why is it suddenly a problem when TRD finally shows the US some love?

I'm not trying to be mean or rude (redundancy)

I'm just asking for fairness
