Actually 1st to 4th. I get home on the 5th so in my head that is part of the trip. Fly out at 2:20 on the Monday afternoon. Get back home around 12:30 Tuesday morning.

Yes, I am really spending $1,000 and 24 hours of travel time (total) to attend a one day event.

Can't believe you're coming out to hang with these clowns a 2nd time.

You know how the expression goes ... fool you once, shame on us; fool you twice, shame on you!

Well at least this time it won't be a whirlwind of dragging people around ship tours and tightly scheduled meals.
I may plan some time to hang around Berkley wearing my Colt assault rifle tee shirt and smoking on the sidewalk. That seems to be always good for a laugh.

What time's your flight on Monday? I might be able to help out.

EDIT: Saw 2:20 PM on Monday. Yeah, I can definitely take you to the airport. Where are you staying?

Don't know where we are staying just yet since I have not discussed with Ultra. I hear the park benches are nice at that time of year.

By "we" I am referring to Ultramaroon and anybody else traveling from afar.

Or it could be:

roy·al “we”
noun
noun: royal "we"; plural noun: royal "we"s; noun: royal we; noun: royal wes
  1. the use of “we” instead of “I” by an individual person, as traditionally used by a sovereign.
"Queen Victoria once remarked, with British understatement, “we are not amused.”"

Yeah, ok. Wasn't sure if you were travelling with the missus this time or not. Ultramaroon's on his own, but I don't have a problem that Monday giving you a ride to the airport. Middle of the day, traffic shouldn't be too bad on the Peninsula.

We're clear to crash at my brother's pad.

New wrinkle: I was reminded yesterday that my plans may be interrupted by the late arrival of the newest member of my family.

I hoped to avoid revealing more evidence of my stupidity but that would just be adding asshole to the stupid.

It's a small but statistically significant possibility. I'll keep you posted. My apologies.

How closely related will you be to said new family member so we can know how bad it was
