Finally back home from busy weekend at the course! Well, came back last night but KO'ed afterward.

After all the seat time from both days, and having sat along with very experienced auto-x champions/instructors while they drive my car and vice versa, I have a whole new appreciation of what the car can do (and how terrible I am still at looking ahead, throttle, steering, and braking input).

Talked to a guy who rallycrosses his STI and he mentioned that drivers taking their license test for the first time should be given a voucher for 1 day session at an autocross course with experienced racers as teachers. I was very much in agreement.

tl;dr I fell in love with the car again. Who said one cannot have fun in an automatic!! -rhetorical question, of course.

Oh yah, I completely forgot what ABS is for when I did the pedal dance. -___- Need to go check the tires for bald spots. Hopefully its not too bad... though gives me an excuse to buy new tires now.

You're fine. Pedal dance doesn't cancel ABS.

Pedal dance disables ABS?

Looks like I need to go read up on what the difference between pedal dance and "hold TC off for 3 second" button does again....

Sorry for double post. Weird computer/internet didn't show ultra's post when I made mine.

I believe that holding the button down really just decreases the sensitivity of TC/SC

When I hold my button in, the traction light will flash but doesn't actually seem to do anything while driving

Interesting... yellow flashy on the dash never illuminated one time, and I had the tail end swinging around plenty of times...
