Security Camera?
does anybody know of any dash cams or security cams that stay on for 24 hours? i live on a military base and guess what, no security cameras. My car was keyed and I had to pay 250 for the deductible but I got it fixed. To prevent this from happening in the future, Im looking into beefing up security. So if anyone knows of any type of wireless security camera or dash cam that records on motion and has a battery that lasts a long time please let me know!

There are a few out there such as the Blackvue cams that will do it. You need to hook up either a separate battery or a voltage cutoff device to ensure it doesn't drain your car battery though. They are motion activated.

I've got Panoramas, a pair of X1's but the X2 is great if you aren't looking for something as discreet. No heat issues, nice quality picture even at night, and full parking mode.

Blackvue dashcam + Power Magic Pro. You can set it to record for 24 hours before it auto shuts off.
