Nobody knows... It is usually the premium/sports models that we get shafted on, and until now Scion hasn't had anything in that category. So in Canada we're a bit on edge about pricing. If the pricing difference between a US FR-S and an Canadian FR-S is close to that of a tC, we will be very happy (assuming it is priced sensibly there). If it follows Subaru WRX/STI or Nissan 370Z mark-up trends, I won't be buying one.

as was mentioned, canadians typically get shafted on higher priced cars

ford.com , focus = 16,500 ; shelby GT500 48,000
ford.ca , focus = 15,999 ; shelby GT500 58,000

like seriously?

I've avoided this thread for a while. These cars are completely different. Not in the same price range or performance category. Like a few people said, a used 370Z will come close to the price range of a new FR-S (most likely). But even then the 370Z still only has 2 seats.

Not worth arguing over.

In other news today...

Nissan has decided to go with a retro look for the 370Z refresh... albeit 2003 retro.

350Z

370Z

Yeah I saw that earlier today. I liked the original 370z front end better.

Actaully that last is the best looking Z I've seen yet ... and that's not saying much lol. Just my opinion. The first looks like a cartoon car... the second like a cartoon car with fangs. The third could be called acceptable.

The Zs are too big. They would have been killer if they were the size of the FRS/BRZ.
