Was ordering whiteout a mistake?

Sometimes I look at the white, and think I made a mistake. Does anyone have the definitive picture of a production white, that will reassure me I made the right choice.

All pictures are going to skew color a bit. I would just go down to a Subaru dealership and take a look at any of the white cars on the lot. Its the same color.

When the first 86 group was in Long Beach test driving the FR-S, we were given the option to change colors and transmissions from our previous choices.

Of the folks who changed colors, the overwhelming majority changed to Whiteout. The pearl is quite gorgeous.

all the pictures suck, I urge you to go find one in real life. White literally blew my group @ the first86 trip away. Several people switched from black and blue to white on the spot.

Thank you I feel better already.

I was watching videos last night, and looking at pics today, and the white looks kind of boring looking. But if you guys think in person its amazing I believe you. I have not seen one in person so........

My suggestion is to get asphalt or firestorm. They can really grow on you.

And just so you're aware you didn't order anything. You put a deposit down to reserve a spot for an incoming car. You told them your preferences. So if the dealer wants to keep your business they will likely try to nab what you want from the allotments, but the color and transmission allotments were decided and then they are just building out based on pre-determined choices. I don't think we'll be able to order and expect to get the color we want until 2013, and maybe not even then. The only way I think you'll get the color you want is if you have your VIN, order number, and have paid them in full already.

I could be wrong, but talking to all of the dealers in the area, this is what I'm told.

I agree. I don't like white cars of any way, shape or form, and I loved the color. It has a very rich depth to it. Honestly, I kinda wish the red had the same pearl look to it, although that might make it look too much like a bowling ball.

Whiteout or Black are the best colors, but none of them you can go wrong...There is a lot of black trim on this car so White and Black colors set it off good.

I understand. I did tell them I really didn't care what color it was. I was telling the truth. If they called today and had one available, I really wouldn't care what color it is. Ill take what ever is available.

I've seen all the colors in person. All the colors were great. Only color, I didn't really care for was a silver.

After seeing almost all colors in person, I liked them all Honestly, not a bad color in my book. The cars looked great in all colors and I personally went with Whiteout, so I am biased Hhaha I've had 3-4 white cars and 3 blk/dark cars..I like white hides scratches Best!
