Not in 225/45/17, though I suppose the competition folks will be getting 245 or 255 section widths.

Competition folks wouldn't be running RE11A if they're anything like their predecessor. RS3 still dominates the ultimate dry grip.

Then why'd you get Z2SS?

I want some level of wet traction, and I'm not a track junkie.

What you mean not in 225/45/17? I see that specific size on tirerack.

I was responding to your post about the price. They are a hair more expensive than the Z2 in that size. NBD.

I find it interesting that the 235/45/17 is actually cheaper then the 225. Too bad it's not 235/40/17

There's only a handful of tires in 235/40...which I've always found odd. Oh wow, way cheaper than the original RE-11 in 235/45 as well.

Just bought Bridgestone Pole Position S-04's yesterday. I'm not an AutoX'er or Tracker but probably have 100,000 miles on curvy NC backroads. The effect on the FR-S was instantly noticeable. A heavier feel that reminded me of a Porsche Cayman, very responsive to any contour, dip etc. in the road that reminded me of a Lotus Elise. You have to pay better attention when you swith from the Primacy to these but that's okay with me. Of course, as expected, the rear end doesn't swing out as easily but that's also okay with me. They look awesome. The price is good on these. Very pleased so far but no rain or long term wear feedback.

Get rid of those Primacy's ASAP!!!! It's a noticeable change.
