People's Reaction to Your New FR-S

I guess I am intimidating or smell funny as I rarely get approached about my car. I still see other drivers speed up or slow down to pull along side but they always stop behind my shoulder where I can't easily see them.

I just went to a local QT and a sales guy from the neighboring jeep dealership walked up and asked me about my FRS. Said it was the first one he'd seen, drooled over it for a bit. First time that's happened.

Came out of the grocery store today to see a kid who looked like he was maybe 12 take a picture of my car with his mom's phone. He saw me walking up and said "cool car!" with a huge smile on his face. Future petrol head

Drove by a highschool today as school was out. Many broken necks today.

My fiancee borrowed my raven fr-s today because I was bringing my uncles vehicle in for service today and she had a guy rubber neck so hard he curbed his own car..... I smiled

i can sympathise as i believe i smell funny too! hate to shower because
it ''simulates" drowning to me.i have an aversion to water.with that said,
i rarely ever get looked at in this car,and i think it's because i am fat,rather unkempt looking,and i ''fart" a lot,however when i ponder all of this,i come to realize people are looking at the car,and NOT me,and all is right with the world!..hope the japs put a "blower'' in this thing!..maybe next year! ..just sayin'

I've had quite a few encounters with mine. When I went to the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, I was putting up my sun visor and a dude was walking by. He looks at my car, looks at me, then grins and gives me a big thumbs up. Awesome.

I think my favorite had to be when I went to a Wendy's. I drive up to the window and pay. The dude gives me back my credit card and tells me "nice car" and to pull around and park to wait on my fries. I pull around and park, and three employees come out looking at my car. They come up to the car and ask me questions. I tell them about the car and rev the engine. They go nuts and realize they need to get me my food.

I pulled into the McDonald's drive thru last night, and the guy asked if that was the new FR-S. I told him it was, and he said he wished he was me.

Yesterday, pulled in to dog vet and a little frail librarian looking lady goes "Do you love your car, I was going to get one but it was too powerful"
Today at Dentist, my 20something tech comes in and goes, "do you have a Scion?" Yes, I do. She goes "Looks great we were all trying to figure out whose it was" "I am torn on getting one since I am thinking about kids soon"

Just a couple people at work have asked me about it. On the road or out and about... nothing. Still haven't seen another fr-s here yet, though I know they are around. Someone near work has a brz that I've seen a few times.

Had another encounter with an ae86 driver, ended up complementing each others car and his 86 matched mine

Went to the bank couple of days ago and someone asked me if it was the new 240SX

At a weekly car show tonight. Huge parking lot full of cars. Was the only frs there. I parked and walked around but would keep an eye on my car. There was a pretty good group of people around it the entire time. Im not one to start up conversation so I would walk by once in a while to hear what they had to say. there were two older guys with their wives looking at it when one guy turned to the other and said , "it's been a long time since a car gave me wood."
