It was. Speed channel had all kinds of amateur racing mostly under the 'Lucas Oil something or other' as well as WRC, I saw some rallycross, some karting, some Lemons along with a ton of dirt track sprint/midget/late models and trophy trucks. Nobody watched it so they started making crappy 'reality game shows' to try and stay profitable and having at least 2 hours of new NASCAR coverage a day, then NBC/Comcast bought it.

With Speed Channel gone, I no longer know what channel to ask the bartender to switch the tv to when something stupid like baseball is on. We also canceled satellite at home.

Comcast ruined my life.

I saw the price for the 8mm VHS camcorder and just about fell out of my chair.

What a great watch, Loved seeing the old AE86s, even if they had an ungodly amount of body roll.

The 80s were a hell of a time.

When this was made, 4 year old me had no idea what he was missing.
