Whiteline Performance

The 86Drift GT is currently at Whiteline having their products trial fitted.
You can find more pictures of the trial fittings and of the Whiteline workshop at 86drift.com. If you have any questions let me know and if I can’t answer them I’ll ask the Whiteline guys.

I've driven a particular mountain road a couple of time and will do so again after I get the car back to give you a review of the handling changes.

Now for the good part. Pics!

Getting base wheel alignment spec.

Another angle on the alignment machine.

A few rear bars ready to try.

Whiteline have posted a pic on their facebook page. You can find their facebook page here.

Here's a pic of the guys hard at work:

Now for the cool stuff. Here's the wheel alignment as it was delivered.

Notice the good amount of caster and minimal camber. This is how I generally set up my cars. Toyota has done the hard work for me.

I'll have a full list as to what went on the car Friday.
The rear bar is interesting as they are trying a lot of different options so as to improve on the already good handling. It's nice to see a company spend time and money developing a product that you can be assured will work well.

6 to 8 weeks, maybe sooner. I'll let you know as soon as they're in.

Updated pics on 2nd post.

There'll be two different sizes available for the front and back.
Front is either 20 or 22mm and the rear is 16 or 18mm. Front are two way adjustable and rear are three way adjustable.

I've just picked up the car and the steering and responsiveness have improved a lot!
It's now much sharper handling than what we get from the factory. I'll give a a full review once I've done some 'spirited' driving.

Whiteline have posted some videos of the 86. I've linked them from my Facebook page.

Yup! It's part of our RCE suspension starter pack. RCE Springs, OEM camber bolts, Whiteline front COM C top mounts, and Whiteline rear camber kit.

Love Whiteline...always awesome to work with them. They hooked us up with our Project Grocery Getter a couple years back! Miss that car. Basically had the FULL whiteline catalog....which is a pretty long list for Subarus!
