You took my comment out of context - I was responding to the assertion that a middle aged woman wouldn't know how to drive a lowered vehicle.

Still, none of us drive expensive cars (atleast the FRS / BRZ isn't "expensive), though maybe your aircraft mechanic buddies do. I see no reason to be afraid of an oil change, no matter the price / car.

I digress - my girlfriend is able to complete an oil change and perform a variety of maintenance (and non-maintenance) jobs on a vehicle. To assume that any woman, regardless of age, would not understand or be able to work on a vehicle, is ridiculous.

Though ridiculous the probability is a lot higher that my statement was true vs yours. Lets be honest most of the guy's girlfriends show up at car events to support their guy not actually because they truly are a gear head.

Now @thesleeper and @Kst092 no offense to you...but as a perfect example you two are probably the most active on the forum for Arizona. Thats 2 out of everyone else who are guys. Therefore the ratio is more likely to hold true as I previously stated.

New In Tucson

Recently got an FRS noticed a few on Mt. Lemon the other day thought I would see if there were any clubs in town. I was reading (and searching) the thread but it's massive, any suggestions on where I can go for local tuning (Phx or SV is ok too)?

Thanks guys for any input and for being early to the game so peeps like me can learn from you

There's not a lot going on here in Tucson, though we have plenty of FRS' around. What kind of tuning are you looking into? Like ECU tunes, or do you mean overall stuff (parts, installs, setup)?

Oh, and welcome to the AZ group. We're pretty much the awesomest..

speaking of ECU tunes, is there any other tune out there that isnt e85 that can still help me get a little more kick ?

Visconti or fa20club are just a few of the tuners. You can get about 20hp in normal pump gas tune. Its not about the hp though and more about the overall drive ability of the car. Less torque dip and smoother.

Funny that the decal was designed by a female member. Seems all the heated battles involve women, lol.

Stereotypes exist for a reason, however there are exceptions. Let's leave it at that.

I would like to get and E85 Tune, I just ordered a Takeda CAI.
I've been reading a lot but not sure what is required for E85 tune (rom)
I see a lot of people are using Visconti on the forum (and a few others) I will probably make a purchase today to get a cable, rom, and lic.

I still have research to do, threads everywhere are chuck full of too much unrelated info lol.
