Innovate Motorsports Twin Screw Supercharger Kit for FR-S/BRZ

We can’t give away all the details yet, but here is a quick overview:

What is it?
-This is the first twin screw (positive displacement) supercharger kit for the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ platform in the US.
-The cleanest near OEM under hood packaging out of any of the supercharger kit offerings! The supercharger AND water-to-air intercooler system are integrated into a direct replacement, high performance intake manifold. Simply bolt on the kit, re-flash and drive!

What kind of engine management will the kit include?
-An EcuTek re-flash mapped for the supercharger system will be included.

Why a twin screw supercharger?
-The proprietary .94 liter twin screw design offers exceptional efficiency and lower intake temperatures when compared to other positive displacement and centrifugal designs, meaning lower air inlet temps per pound of boost!
-This design has the ability to produce substantial low and mid range RPM torque compared to other forced induction options. What this means is less time worrying about what gear you are in, and more time maximizing that corner exit acceleration! Even off the track, you may also notice that you will no longer have to downshift on steep hills with the kits “right now” torque delivery.

Will this kit be intercooled?
-There will be both intercooled and non-intercooled kits available. The intercooled version of the kit will utilize highly efficient Laminova air to liquid intercooler cores integrated in to the intake manifold. There will also be a proven OEM grade Bosch pump and properly matched aluminum heat exchanger. The non-intercooled kit will be optimized for lower boost levels and offer a very competitive and attractive MSRP.

Will I need anything else?
-The kits will be sold complete with ancillaries, minus coolant if required, ready to install and drive!

Is this the right forced induction solution for me?
If you want to improve drive-ability, give your car that mid range pull it should have had from the factory, and require OEM fit and finish then yes, this kit is for you!
Come see the Innovate Motorsports Twin Screw Supercharger kit for the FR-S/BRZ at the 2012 SEMA show, booth #22819.

(UPDATE 1.21.13)

Hello all! There are a few questions that have come up often in PM’s and in the thread, so we have decided to address them in one post to make things easier to keep track of. More information will follow shortly.

-Can the intercooler be added later?

Yes, the intercooler system can be added to any version of the Stg. 1 kit at a later date. The pricing for the separate intercooler upgrade will be announced shortly, but you can expect it to be somewhere in the range of the difference in price between Stg. 1 and Stg. 2 kits.

-Is tuning included in the retail pricing?

Yes, the complete Stg. 1 and Stg. 2 kits include the re-flash and the cable. This will only be applicable in the North American market. The tuner version would be ideal for those that own their own cable already, have an alternate preferred tuning solution, or those who do not own a North American spec. FR-S or BR-Z.

-Will this kit be CARB approved?

Yes, we will be pursuing CARB approval in the very near future. We'll keep everyone informed during this process. Until then, these kits will be sold for off-road use only.

-What is the Retail pricing for the kits in complete and tuner versions?

$3495 Stg.1 COMPLETE (with re-flash & cable) non-intercooled.

$3295 Stg.1 TUNER (without re-flash & cable) non-intercooled.

$4695 Stg.2 COMPLETE (with re-flash & cable) intercooled.

$4495 Stg.2 TUNER (without re-flash & cable) intercooled.

-Pre-sale information

Coming soon.

-What is the relationship between the Cusco and Innovate Motorsports Kits?

Innovate Motorsports is the exclusive North American distributor and customer service center for this supercharger package. We have been intimately involved in the design and development of this kit since the beginning (and have several rapid prototypes, drawings, components and our own development car.). If you're in North America, we're here to support your use of our products full time. Cusco, a very respectable company, will be representing this product in Japan only if they decide to pursue distribution.

Sounds very nice, had my heart set on the vortech but you may have changed my mind. Can you start non-intercooled and add it later?

this sounds promising but unless this costs less than $3,800 like AVO's amazing turbo kit there is no way I'm buying it.

I'm looking forward to the vansheee whine!
