Try to ensure a solid piss right before you go to sleep and you wont have any wood in the morning.

actually, it seems wiki agrees with me.. nice

Mechanism[edit]

The cause of NPT is not known with certainty. Bancroft (2005) hypothesizes that the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norepinephrine"]Norepinephrine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] neurons of the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locus_ceruleus"]Locus coeruleus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] are inhibitory to penile erection, and that the cessation of their discharge that occurs during REM sleep may allow [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testosterone"]Testosterone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]-related excitatory actions to manifest as NPT.[3]
Evidence supporting the possibility that a full [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bladder"]Urinary bladder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] can stimulate an erection has existed for some time and is characterized as a 'reflex erection'. The nerves that control a man’s ability to have a reflex erection are located in the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacral_nerves"]Sacral nerves - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] (S2-S4) of the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinal_cord"]Spinal cord - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame].[4] A full bladder is known to mildly stimulate nerves in the same region.
The possibility of a full bladder causing an erection, especially during sleep, is perhaps further supported by the beneficial physiological effect of an erection inhibiting urination, thereby helping to avoid [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nocturnal_enuresis"]Nocturnal enuresis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame].[[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed"]Wikipedia:Citation needed - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]]

But I've tried this.
Just doesn't work. It's def not wanting to piss either.

It's rather annoying haha.

Doesn't work for me. I've been trained so hard that I MUST EMPTY MY BLADDER before going to bed that I do it almost subconsciously.

Still get morning-howdy-doo!

It's definitely not related to pissing in my case at least. I'll get sleep boners as I'm falling asleep not just when I wake up. It's like clockwork, eyes get heavy, c**k gets heavy.
