Another Reason to Love the BRZ

I was leaving the store this morning, and three attractive twenty-something ladies were getting into the car next to mine. One of them smiled at me and said "I like your car!"

Now I'm old enough to be her father, and no movie star in the looks department, so I'm sure she genuinely did like my car. Still, it brightened up my day.

I do love those moments. The other day a couple of teens yelled out "Hey cool car!" I then heard them whisper to one another, "Isn't that the scion?" "No, that's the Subaru, it's so much cooler!" Made my day!

I usually get the guys from work say "nice car" and I quickly jump in and say "yeh bot bad for a girls car" before they can say it. They are all into off roading and v8's. They don't know what to follow up with when I steal their line

I had 6 "nice cars" in a 5 minute drive today. Usually get at least two a day. Ranges from small children to old ladies with every conceivable age in between. I think most just like the colour and have no clue what the car is.
99.99999998% of the general public have no idea there is a Scion or Subaru version so the whole Subaru snob thing is silly.

For the 500th time:

Wrong colour!

The chicks love the Lava.

Is your car WRB or GBS?

Yeah it's great, I catch people looking at me and the car almost every day as I drive home from work, I always get compliments while I wash it too.

Also, still don't see many others on the road, even after almost 5 years. I can take an 11 hr road trip to Myrtle Beach, spend a week on the road, and would be lucky to see just one other twin.

I see 4-10 per day.

3 others just in my neighborhood, 4 in my parking lot at work, and another 2 at my GFs work parking lot if we carpool.

Not to mention when I go to national AutoX event there will be like 25 of them there.
