Dropped almost 2 inch's and am right across the lake from you. With good snows I didn't have a single issue and I drive 3500 miles a month.

Depending what you get the ride can be almost as good as stock to bone crushing. Mine is almost as good as stock but with a little more stable feel in the turns.

Last I saw, you have the RSR Superdowns, even though you originally thought they were the TRD Springs, correct? I was originally thinking about the Eibach Pro-kit, but I might go with the Superdowns since they give a larger drop.

Correct. As I recently said in another thread on paper they are supposed to give a 1.2" drop in front and a 1.4" drop in rear but when measured against 3 stock suspensions it is closer to 1.75" front and just shy of 2" in back. At that level I was worried since to the best of my knowledge anything that low should have bolts and LCAs as well and I don't but so far with almost 50K miles I have had zero issues so am not sweating it.

No alignment issues? Was looking into getting the milder RSRs along with bolts and an LCA for a .5" drop...

If that's the case, I may go ahead and get it..

I have not had it checked although I keep meaning to. Certainly don't feel anything and the tire wear is as even as you can get so I am not too worried about it. I could be asking for trouble at some point but if nothing has shown up after so many miles I doubt it will.
I am far from an expert on the subject though as most of my old cars I worked very hard to get them up in the air not down but from everything I have read if you are going under an inch you don't need anything else anyway.

But that's what I like - ~$50 mods I can throw on once a month or so as I can afford them. Honestly I want to rice it up without being too over-the-top. I refuse to put anything on with words (stickers that say 'fresh 2 death' and that nonsense). I know some people will flame if you like rice or your car looks ricey, but FOR ME...I like a little rice..

So anywhere around ~$50-~$100 or so, let me know what you recommend!
Preferably exterior

BTW: I have a WRB if that matters
I remember when i first got my car i said the exact same thing. Something like, i don't want to do too much, add a bit of lights and things to change it just a little only so that others who actually own the car would know the differences.

Got the car and quickly drove it to formula Drift

Than a few months later

And than one year later....

Keep in mind a $50 mod will look like a $50 mod. Kust keep it stock in the meantime.

.

Asking what can be bought for $50 is hardly a way to make the car your own. What you will get is what everybody else wants to make the car their own. Shouldn't have to go looking for ideas they should just come to you.

Well the $1500 just means he has to save up $50 only 30 times.

whatever you do, do NOT look at other people's build journals. you will most likely find yourself tossing away your self control and go on a parts buying spree lol

isn't that the point of being a car enthusiast? Existing on ramen and spending every possible penny on car mods.
