well ill reserve my criticism until they release the pricing of the frs. However items like the hvac, push button start cant be upgraded. However it does cheapened the car and not in the $ sense.

Still trying to hide the vehicle weight huh?

This interior got gutted out that's for sure, like the hvac controls, and especially the radio that looks lifted from a 1990 silverado. It will obviously be the cheapest version of the car. The BRZ is looking much more attractive at this point.

I want to see what Scion has as options...unless Detroit changes my mind I'm holding Subie's arm up in this battle

Sooo disappointed by the cheapo interior. I'd rather have a plastic plate no speakers over that hideous head unit and crappy looking HVAC.

People keep saying Scion tends to offer everything as an option... I really hope so. I'm tired of being jealous of JDM cars

I like the fact that some of the things about this car look cheap... and simple.

For crying out loud, have some of you never even seen an AE86.

The only thing that must stay true... is that if this car is going to look cheap...

IT NEEDS TO BE CHEAP!

The simplicity of it is very appealing to me though.

Wow, Scion managed to make the best tail lights better than Subaru and Toyota...

The smaller exhaust is because of US regulations that limit the size of the exhaust pipe. Its a shame, but I bet a lot of people will be swapping that out. No 86mm exhaust pipes for us.

WHY?!

I am actually fine with these HVAC controls, I hate the auto ones that leave your AC compressor on all the time.

That stereo is fugly though, that would def be the first thing to go. I would totally rather have a blank out box instead of that crap. lol
