The accelerator only pedal setup from SRP looks great with the other OEM pedals and is way more functional for throttle bliping than the stock setup (which is not that great, the stock setup on my '98 Tacoma is infinitely better than the stock FR-S layout...)

Together with shipping, this Neoplot pedal is like $250 from Japanparts.com. I ordered one and will see in a few weeks.

Thanks for the link, I'm gonna get one. Maybe I'll paint it with rustoleum or something since I don't care for the shine. But I'll probably be too lazy to care

Sooo... Any distributors in the US have these? Really don't wanna pay for the long & expensive shipping from Japan.

Rallysport Direct now has the cusco cover. I'm torn on which to buy
Comparison: Cusco ($58.20 Shipped to NH with discount) Pro: No Drilling Con: Shiney (can be sanded for a duller/brushed finish) Con: More expensive SRP Racing ($42.80 Shipped to NH with discount) Pro: Larger extended area Pro: Matte finish Con: Drilling Required What do you guys think? |

You're probably trying to twist your foot into a horizontal position and making it hard on yourself. Try moving your foot up the brake pedal more and instead of pushing it down with the tip of your foot, push it down with the ball of your foot. You will be able to press down the accelerator pedal with your heel without twisting your ankle much, less than 45 degress I would say.

I went with the cusco. It took about 20 minutes to install. I only got to take a short drive after install, but it is pretty much everything I wished the stock pedal was. This is my first manual, and I have never been able to heal-toe...until my short drive post-install. I was easily able to keep ball of my foot on the brake while blipping the throttle. This pedal is worth every penny!

So the cusco one fits on top of the stock pedal? Does it affect the pedal height then?
